I recently stayed at a hotel in an old building located near Shinjuku Sanchome for a few days. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and efficient, with a nice attached bathroom. There were also convenient and inexpensive laundry facilities, as well as vending machines for drinks and snacks. I particularly enjoyed the shared Japanese-style bath on the premises.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

As a solo traveler staying at Tokyo Business Hotel, I had a great experience. The hotel provided access to onsen and washing machines, which was extremely convenient. The price for an individual room was surprisingly low, especially considering its central location. The internet connection was reliable, as is typical in Japan. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the old building was kept impeccably clean. The shared Japanese style bath was a highlight, and the hotel was conveniently located near Shinjuku sanchome station, with plenty of convenience stores, eateries, and restaurants in the vicinity. a basic and clean room that was perfect for my needs.
I do recommend this hotel.
